Hon Ferguson's professional journey started in the private sector, where he gained valuable experience as an Accountant at P.O. Polack Group of Companies

and Belize Food Producers Ltd. In 2003, he embarked on his political career and was elected representative for the Stann Creek West Constituency. Over the years, he has held several ministerial positions, displaying his resilience and dedication to serving his country.

In 2020, Hon Ferguson was re-elected as the area representative for Stann Creek West, and in 2021, he was appointed as the Minister of Youth and Sports, heading the newly established Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Transport. Alongside his passionate team, he is actively involved in modernizing the transportation industry and creating opportunities for young people. Hon. Ferguson firmly believes in empowering the youth of all backgrounds and abilities, fostering inclusivity, and nurturing a thriving sporting culture that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development.
