Welcome to the 8th Caribbean Sustainable
Energy Forum (CSEF 2023)!
The eighth edition of the Caribbean Sustainable Energy Forum marks the first full CSEF in five years and arrives at a critical juncture for the region. The need for energy independence - and for clean, resilient grids - is urgent. Equally, the opportunity to transform Caribbean economies, and ensure their competitiveness in the long-term, is generational.
Within CARICOM, significant progress has been made in expanding renewable energy penetration in Member States. In several countries, a new question is emerging: what are our opportunities in Power-to-X? Can renewables power the next generation of transportation, energy storage, and gas and hydrogen production across the Caribbean?

CSEF 2023 will gather national, regional, and international stakeholders from the public and private sectors to explore renewables 2.0 and how the Caribbean can flex its ambition and expertise to develop state-of-the-art transportation networks and a flourishing green hydrogen industry.
