Caroline manages the delivery of the Carbon Trust’s offshore wind advisory projects, including those in Europe, the Americas, and East Asia. Prior to joining Carbon Trust, Caroline led the initial development of the Scottish Government’s 2nd National Marine Plan, the statutory policy framework for Scotland’s marine industries and environment, to reflect the government’s new net zero targets and offshore wind ambitions. She also brings experience managing overseas development assistance (ODA) funded projects supporting governments to develop climate plans in Latin America, Southeast Asia and China. Caroline holds a B.A. in Environmental Science from Northwestern University, completed an M.Sc. in Marine Science and Resources as a European Commission Erasmus Mundus Scholar, and has published research on marine spatial planning applications.
